The Early Learning Center is an educational child care center for children 3 months to 5 years of age.
STAFF INFORMATION
Staff includes a full time program coordinator with a Post Masters Certificate and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, 2 assistant coordinators with Bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education/Child Development, ten EEC certified teachers who have or are pursuing bachelor degrees in early childhood education or related fields, and three teacher's assistants. The program includes a social worker to support staff efforts to meet the mental health and social service needs of children and families. A child psychologist is also available for monthly consultation
ELIGIBILITY
The program is open to all families from Canton and its surrounding towns. Employees of Enable, Inc. and siblings of children enrolled in other Cole-Harrington programs are given priority.
The program offers scholarships for families with incomes below 85% of the state median income.
Funding is available through state contracts with the Department of Early Education and Care to support the inclusion of children from low-income families and children at-risk for abuse and neglect.
