The Infant Toddler Enrichment Center is an educational child care center for children 3 months to 2.9 years.

The Cole-Harrington Infant Toddler Enrichment Center offers a program to meet the needs of working parents of children aged three months to two years nine months. The program is located at 605 Neponset St. in Canton and is open year round from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The program provides child care to six infants aged three to fifteen months and twenty-one toddlers aged sixteen to thirty-three months. Two classrooms include infants and toddlers and the third classroom serves older toddlers.

The program is committed to the concept of inclusive education for all children and collaborates with Enable, Inc.’s Early Intervention program to provide individual and group services on site. The program provides a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to meet children’s emotional, social, cognitive and physical needs and uses an interactive approach to give children hands-on opportunities to explore materials and their environment.

Encourage children to think, reason, question and experiment

Develop language skills

Encourage creative expression and an appreciation of the arts

Achieve age-appropriate perceptual motor and gross motor skills


A planned learning environment based on developmentally appropriate practice for children aged 3 months to 3 years.

A consistent and predictable daily routine including large and small group times, child and teacher directed activities, and daily outdoor play.

Planned specific teacher-child interactions based on individual needs of each child.

An indoor gross motor room and a well-equipped enclosed outdoor play space.

Curriculum based on the High Scope Model of Education for Infants and Toddlers.
