The Preschool Enrichment Center is an Educational Child Care and Preschool Program for Children Aged 2.9 to 5 Years of Age.

The program is open to all families from Canton and its surrounding towns. Employees of the Mass Hospital School, Enable, Inc., Canton public school employees and siblings of children enrolled in other Cole-Harrington programs are given priority.

The program offers scholarships for families with incomes below 85% of the state median income.

Funding is available through state contracts with the Department of Early Education and Care to support the inclusion of children from low-income families and children at-risk for abuse and neglect.

The program actively collaborates with early intervention programs and local public schools to address the special education needs of all children.

The program coordinator has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education/special needs and has over twenty-five years experience as a teacher and administrator. Her commitment to developmentally appropriate early childhood practice and on going staff training to support the full inclusion of children with special education needs is well known and respected in the Canton community. The program employs a full time assistant coordinator with a master’s degree, four bachelor level early childhood educators with Department of Education certification and four assistant teachers with EEC teacher certification. The program maintains a 1 to 6 ratio.
