The School-Age Enrichment Center offers a program to children aged 5 to 11 who reside in Canton and surrounding towns. The program is located on the grounds of the Galvin Middle School at 54 Pecunit St., Canton.

The program includes: Before and after-school child care (7:00–9:00 a.m.; 2:40–5:30 p.m.), After school enrichment courses (3:30–4:30 p.m.), Special programming for Canton Public School early release days (11:50–3:00 p.m.), school vacation days/weeks (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.), and a ten week summer program (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.).

The School Age Enrichment Program provides an engaging, flexible and responsive curriculum that meets the emotional, social, intellectual, academic and recreational needs of school aged children within a safe, predictable, nurturing environment, with clear and consistent rules to establish a sense of fairness and trust.

SUMMER PROGRAM

The Cole-Harrington School Age Enrichment Program offers a full day school based program to children in grades K5. Activities include: sports clinics, swim lessons and free swim, academic review period, science explorations, art projects, outdoor play, field trips and weekly themes.

ENRICHMENT COURSES

Enrichment courses are offered to children in grades 15 between the hours of 3:304:30 p.m. during the school year. Parents and children choose courses from a variety of options including academic enrichment, visual and performing arts, health and wellness, and sports and recreation.

HOMEWORK HELP

Children can choose “Homework Club” as an enrichment course or get help with their homework after their enrichment course. Our EEC group leaders support and guide children as they work on their school assignments and actively promote positive study habits.
